(Feb. 11) - Since Chris Brown turned himself in to the LAPD for an alleged assault against his girlfriend Rihanna, rumors have been flying around the Internet at breakneck speed. Some of them have been outlandish, some of them fairly believable. We don't pretend to know what happened between the two, but we're having trouble keeping track of the public's various theories. Here are the Top Ten Rumors About Rihanna and Chris Brown, whether or not you (or we) believe them.
10. Chris Brown used a deadly weapon in the assault - early reports suggested that Brown was being charged with "assault with a deadly weapon." This was proven false shortly after those rumors surfaced.
9. Rihanna was snooping in Brown's cell phone - interestingly it appears that Brown's camp put this out there. According to Bossip, Brown's people say that Rihanna spied the caller ID when a particular lady called, "went ballistic," and began beating Brown - who then struck Rihanna in self defense.
8. Leona Lewis was the cause of the fight - Star says, "At one point, Rihanna caught Chris flirting with Leona. They were carrying on and laughing, and Rihanna saw Chris with his hand on the small of Leona's back. It may have been innocent, but that set Rihanna off."
7. Photos of Rihanna have hit the web - TMZ shows that the alleged crime photos are just Photoshopped touchups of Rihanna in perfect shape.
6. Chris Brown bit Rihanna in various parts of her body - though photos of Rihanna after the attack are not available, some reports claim that Rihanna was bitten repeatedly.
